Tragic Graduation Day Turns Deadly for Nebraska Family of Four

A graduation day in Nebraska took a tragic turn when a family of four was found dead in what police are calling a murder-suicide.

Authorities discovered the bodies of Thomas White, 45, his wife Linda White, 43, and their two children — Mark, 18, and Sophie, 16 — in their Omaha home late Sunday night, just hours after Mark’s high school graduation ceremony.

According to police, preliminary evidence indicates that Thomas White shot his wife and children before turning the gun on himself.

A firearm was recovered at the scene, and investigators are now working to determine a motive.

“This is a devastating incident that has rocked our community,” said Omaha Police Chief Sarah Thompson. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the extended family and friends affected by this unspeakable tragedy.”
