Former FBI Director James Comey Under Investigation for Potential Threat Against Trump

He quickly deleted the photo and apologized, stating that he was unaware that the numbers could be interpreted as a threat.

Despite his apology, some high-profile figures, including Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, are not convinced.

Gabbard criticized Comey’s explanation, calling it “ridiculous and insane.”

“For Comey to think that we the American people, that he as a former FBI director, former prosecutor,

would believe his lie that he didn’t know what this was calling for… The dangerousness of this cannot be understated,” Gabbard said.

Trump himself also weighed in, telling Fox News that he firmly believes Comey knew exactly what the numbers meant.
