Kadance Fredericksen, 18, was tragically killed in a car crash just three minutes from her home.
Her mother confirmed the Miss Florida Teen USA contestant collided head-on with a trailer near their residence.
The heartbreaking accident occurred right outside their home, with paramedics pronouncing Kadance dead at the scene.
“She was literally only three minutes away,” her mother shared through tears, adding Kadance had “her whole life ahead of her.”
A beloved teen in her community, Kadance was considered a favorite in the pageant and had a bright future ahead.
