A tragic incident unfolded when a prank involving three teenagers resulted in the death of one of them after a homeowner allegedly fired a gun at them.
Earlier this week, police confirmed that 18-year-old Michael Bosworth Jr. died from injuries sustained in the shooting.
On May 3, at around 3 a.m., the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office in Virginia responded to a call about a residential burglary in progress, during which shots had been fired.
Authorities believe the shooting occurred after a prank, linked to a social media trend, went horribly wrong.
